I DIDN'T LEARN RESILIENCE FROM A TEXTBOOK.
I LIVED IT.
I KNOW WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO START OVER.
In 2020, I battled cancer, knee surgery, depression, and a 50+ pound weight gain. I felt physically and mentally lost.
In 2021, I made a decision: start small, stay consistent, and rebuild—one day at a time. That decision changed the direction of my life and became the foundation of Fitter Mindz.
THE EXPERIENCES THAT SHAPED ME
In 2001, my mother was diagnosed with leukemia. I became her caregiver and witnessed courage, uncertainty, and resilience up close.
In 2002, I cycled 5,700 kms solo and unsupported across the United States over 50 days, raising money for leukemia. The journey tested me through exhaustion, isolation, fear, and adversity.
In 2012, my mother died in my arms just days before my first son was born. That experience permanently changed my perspective on loss, gratitude, and what truly matters.
Years later, after rebuilding myself physically and mentally, I lost 51 pounds in 100 days, completed 20 half-marathons in 20 consecutive weekends, and performed an Olympic-distance triathlon every day for 1,523 consecutive days.
These were not simply endurance challenges. They were mindset laboratories. They taught me that resilience is built through small actions, repeated consistently—especially when motivation disappears.
Fitter Mindz exists to turn those hard-earned lessons into practical tools that help others become stronger, more disciplined, and better prepared for life’s challenges.
THE FITTER MINDZ PHILOSOPHY
START SMALL
Progress begins with an action small enough to repeat.
BE CONSISTENT
Consistency builds momentum, confidence, and identity.
DO MORE
Once the habit is established, expand the challenge.
